Who is the SCP?

Who is the SCP?

The Smart City Partnership (SCP) is a cross sector body which was established in October 2013 to accelerate the delivery to passengers of smart multi-operator commercial bus tickets. The governance arrangements we have put in place will mean the sector is accountable for performance to ministers.

The Partnership comprises the organisations below, and its work is coordinated by a Programme Office. Damian McHale is the Programme Director, and it is Damian’s job to develop and drive the Programme forward while ensuring other parties deliver to quality, time and expectation.

Although other local transport authorities do not form part of the list below, they will hopefully be beneficiaries of SCP as approaches will be standardised and economies of scale achieved.
